About the instructor - Jen McAllister is a hand lettering artist from Lehi, Utah. She began lettering as a creative outlet, which quickly grew into others asking her to letter projects for them. She decided to start Made By Jen in 2017 to display her projects and has since turned her creative focus and hand lettering to weddings and events, becoming one of the most popular and high-demand local wedding calligraphers. She creates hand lettered pieces that tell a story and add a personal and unique touch. She loves being able to teach others how to use the skill of hand lettering to create their own works of art! She knows that hand lettering isn’t only beautiful, but can be therapeutic as well. Jenny’s other hobbies include piano, singing, cross-stitching and experimenting in the kitchen! Jenny and her husband, Richard, live in Lehi and have four children.
